Think of it this way, if you have two fighters that are banned because they would win every fight, who would win if you made them fight? One of them would have to win... eventually.



While thinking of ways to balance this, I thought jokingly about handicaps. Picture this, Goku vs. Sakura. Unbalanced Eh? But wait! Goku has no arms or legs and is blind!

(Horrible example btw. After all, Goku was even pretty fierce as candy, so... yea..)

Technically, there is. I can't name them right now, but godlike for sure. Handicaps is a bad idea, really bad idea. Handicaps would ruin the balance of the fight and would have to rely on BIAS popularity votes. Which is a terrible way to decide a fight.

The handicap thing seems like a bad idea, even though picturing goku without arms/legs and blind while fighting sakura was hilarious.

Genre fights is definitely the best idea so far since everyone that entered that weeks tourny would be around the same strength, i don't think it'd get boring but we might run out of qualifying characters and then have to keep using the same ones over and over. You'd have to get a general estimation of how many characters fit into one category to know how often you can use that category for the 6ish weeks of anime fights. Cause even if people want to do godlike fights every other week theres only a handful of godlike fighters.

P.S. Goku would still win he'd just bite sakura over and over until he won

There is actually unlimited amount of characters we can use, but it's just that people rely on the common characters everytime, very few people decide to use the rarer and more neglected characters.

Ex.
Common: Goku, Ichigo, Naruto, Kenshin
Rare/Neglected: Hercules (DBZ)

i think its safe to say that theres some flaws in the fights themselves i have 2 that ive thought of, first is that characters always improve greatly in fights like ichigo vs ulquiorra final because all times before that theyve faced ichigos been getting his ass kicked (or luffy vs lucci) they always make a comeback with some steelhard determination to make them win

my second point is that people choose things that go in favor of one person
even if they dont see it, like croc vs gaara, gaara has control over all sand with very little chakra consumption (shown vs kimimaru he held lee and himself up at the end even though he was exhausted) and since croc is sand he'd lose automaticly

so i think think the first point should be taken into consideration on some of the fights (not all because some are lazy with no will/cowards) and that element vs same element should be banned

The thing is, people like ichigo and luffy are main characters which generally means they fall under the godlike category so they should only fight against other godlike fighters. With both of them having that steelhard determination it evens the playing field somewhat.

As for Gaara, just use the shippuden version where he doesn't have the jinchurkin or however its spelled, without that he actually has to use chakra albeit less than the average sand user. I can't really think of any other element vs element fight where one fighter could just control the element without exerting any effort.

Huh where in the anime did it say gaara had a small amount of chakra even w/o his tailed beast i dont think he has a small amount (Also there was a fight in the suggestion place of Captain commander from bleach cant remember name vrs natsu but this fight is unfair for natsu cause even without being able to use his bankai he is still a powerful soulreaper
