i would say zero, couse ok shikamaru has an IQ of 200 but zero is more like the logical type he could think about how to deafet shikamaru in the las posible moment beacouse i mean shikamaru is easy to deafet he has a lot of weaknes for a ninja

I think you're unaware of the fact that Shikamaru can come up with limitless amounts of strategies in the middle of battle and btw he also has an IQ OVER 200. I do know that Zero has his Geass which is unstoppable at times, but the fact that in the Naruto series theres many Eye Related Jutsus that require to look into someone's eyes, therefor Shikamaru would probably play it safe and be careful throughout the whole fight avoiding things.

first of all if this was an assassination shikamaru would win, because he is a ninja and has had training. but this battle should be based on a fair battle.

then a fair game of chess or shogi between them would most certainly end in a stale mate, because both are such good strategists.

but in a one on one battle, zero would most definately win. with neither having any intel on the other and both having full use of their powers zero would win as soon as shikamaru made eye contact. unfortunately even if shikamaru catches him with shadow possession he cannot control where zero looks or what he says. by the time shikamaru figures out the power of geass he will be dead.

I beg to differ, if Shikamaru catches Zero in his Shadow Possession that is game, because he has many other skills involving Shadow Possession, including neck bind, which would render Zero speachless and Shadow Weaving which creates shadows to pierce your target, none the less Shikamaru has the upper hand. This fight only gives Zero a chance to win in a game of Chess or Shogi, etc.

Well since Shikamaru would probably keep his distance and look at Zero to analyze him Zero would probably win. It all depends on the circumstances and how much knowledge they have on eachother beforehand though so it's hard to say. My vote goes to Zero anyway.
