As I was putting together todays anime fight, the match up ended up being Sasuke vs Aizen Sosuke... Now, call me crazy, but this seems like a highly unfair fight.


My question to you is, should we continue the winners tournament and continue to get random unbalanced fights or should we just go back to picking user suggested fights? If we continue with the winners tournament, we will probably have about 15 more weeks left.

yeh......you should stop the tournament, cause it really reminds me of DBZ where all the z fighters would enter and kick the living hell out of the normal people, then they just end up with the last two god like characters at the end fighting to the death.

I think if your going to have an anime tournament then limit the ability of people that get into the preliminaries rather then just cancel the whole thing because random match ups aren't working

What if instead of a tourny you just put up a poll of the winners the week after 10 or 20 fights, however many you want, then we vote for that week on the 2 winners we want to see fight the most and then the next week we have a Super anime fight with those 2 winners.

I don't really know how the poll system works so I'm not sure if it can have that many options or if it allows a person to vote for more than 1 thing.

Just an idea that occurred to me so It probably has some holes in it

Sadly I don't really have many helpful ideas right now >_<
The only way I can think of to counter balance Over Powered match-ups is to have the winners of Anime Fight Tourney 1 (I have no idea what to call it) be known as Champions, then have another Anime Fight Tourney and have the winners of Tourney 2 fight the Champions....and basically try to match up according to strength's or even weaknesses.
Sorry it's not really helpful, just a thought that crossed my mind =/

"champions" wont be defeated unless another godlike "champion" comes and take them down, which will be an never ending cycle of godlike "champions" taking over every time. unless people resort to popularity, which i find stupid.

Uhm...well....right now, I think Stars has the best idea. At least it seems somewhat reasonable to me....only problem I could see is if they picked something like Master Roshi vs Ichigo....which I'd be somewhat amazed that Master Roshi would've been picked, but hey, Ichigo might get school....probably not <_<

Trial and Error, LordMakin. People learn from mistakes and now they know this type of anime fight is not so effective.
